Basic Disaster Preparedness Procedures:

    To prepare for a disaster, you should:

• Have a redundant off-site backup of all data
• Unplug all electronics
• Shutdown any servers
• Wrap electronics in plastic
• Put all expensive/important electronics in a closed room
• Elevate important objects in case of flooding
• Bring important documents with you (or leave them in a safe and dry place)
